For 2023, DET (state government) will provide 10 hours of funding towards the threeyear-old program with no fees payable by families. With funding being made available for three-year-old kindergarten, children will only be eligible for one year of funded threeyear-old kindergarten in 2023. All children in three-year-old kindergarten will be expected to transition to four-year-old kindergarten in the following year.
