3 Year Old Program

For many children, 3 year old kindergarten is their first step into a learning environment without their parents and within a peer group. We offer a happy, safe and warm environment and programs which primarily focus on promoting children’s social and emotional development . Our play based learning programs have an emphasis on having fun while learning to share, co-operate and interact with each other and the environment.

Our 3 Year Old Possums children attend for 10 hours per week (2x 5 hour sessions) in a group of up to 22 children. The program is taught by a Bachelor Qualified Kindergarten Teacher (Sally) with the aid of a Diploma Qualified Co-Educator (Eve).  

Children must have turned 3 years old before April 30^th of the enrolment year to be eligible and they may not start until they have turned three.
